About Samuel

SamuelLiquid Black Photography was started by me, Samuel in 2005 after working for a newspaper in the South of England; with a wide variety of work, covering local events as well as national ones such as the New Forest Show (not afraid to be 100 feet up in a sky-lift, in the ring with horses at full gallop or being front of the King's Guard firing all of their canons as part of their amazing display). Donating both time and photographs to the show in the many years I have been asked to return - this year included.

Moving on from the newspaper and starting my own business, I have been covering portraiture sessions, weddings and working hard for several charities such as Leukaemia Busters and the Little Woodham Project. There has also been further commisioned event work for the likes of Abbey National (now Santander) and Channel 5 on "The Business Inspector".

Over the time I have been working I have also become a member of some complimentary organisations who I can refer to for guidance and support, both in the running of my business and improving the quality of service I provide to my customers.

In addition, with my partner Nina, we have been fostering animals from All Animal Rescue; around 10 animals in 2009 and photographing many more; helping to rehome and rehabilitate animals that might otherwise have been put to sleep.

2010 has brought some new challenges, a photographic studio and the Skåne art festival in the south of Sweden (photos and an article to follow shortly after Easter). Interior and exterior architectural work for two properties in Dorset (following on from previous architectural work in Malaga, Spain) and the start of a collaboration on a recipe book

So, if you have a fun challenge, interesting project or would like to have a chat over a coffee to talk about what you would like to acheive from having a professional photographer working with you please do get in touch and I would be happy to meet with you.
