Event work is always a challenge. Something that will rarely be repeated the same way and that can have from 10 to 1000 people or more involved. Being in the right place at the right time is key on those occasions...
If you have have tractors on pulling stunts on two wheels, teetering over a crowd; I'll be there to get the picture of wonder and awe from the audience. If you have trained animals managed by skilled handlers or an event with competitors from all over the country, perhaps even international participants. I'll be there, covering the event from outside, inside and even above the action - attached to a harness 100 feet up.
Perhaps you need someone to take pictures of your black-tie gala or business event. I'll be there, polite, barely noticed except to interact with guests to provide them, and yourselves, with a record of the evening.
I have been taking photographs for over 10 years and take satisfaction in getting the shot just right. With a degree in Engineering and Membership of the Institute of Engineering and Technology you can rest assured I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills using some of the latest technology to get the most out your pictures. Coupled with Membership of the British Institute of Professional Photographers you can be confident that you get a record of your event to help you publicise and promote your cause further.
But technical quality is only important if you have good photographs to start with and I hope you can see for yourself that the photographs I take have modern, contemporary and tradition elements to them - using both film and digital cameras where appropriate.
