London is a fascinating place

My work sometimes takes me to customers that have unusual offices, sometimes very plain, sometimes very interesting.  This office was in very large old building with an inner courtyard, an underground cycle storage instead of a carpark and a shared basement where all of the seminars and larger meetings took place.  It was coupled to a huge kitchen which had the side-effect of encouraging “randoms” to drop into seminars held in the main arena.

The internal design was functional, with brutal use of polished concrete as well as modern with a little touches of aluminium lighting and wooden edging to soften the edges. Really well thought out.

The event was absolutely engaging but I might have been a little distracted by my surroundings; I certainly went home with some more ideas for my own interior designs and a couple of pictures of the ceiling as a reminder…as you do.
