Water Tower

Investigating an alternative route the other day took me through a water park in the shadow of a looming water tower.

In summer the water tower is lit in blue and for the winter season it’s flooded with a festive red light.  The park itself is interactive, with sluices, a small waterfall, pumps that work by jumping or rocking the equipment to generate fountains and streams of water that (were it not 5 degree centigrade right now) would be a fantastic way to use up some energy at the end of a day.

For now, for the time of the year, it lies dormant – waiting on warmer weather to bring people back to play and interact with the park – apart from me of course – I tested everything in the name of science!
